I am very sad to add Love with the Proper Stranger to my list of films that I desperately want to own, but is sadly no longer available anywhere on dvd. I know that it was at one point available on dvd, because I rented it and watched it years ago. I did manage to find it here on youtube, but it just is not the same. The film do
es not get nearly enough credit. It is a cute little movie, but also tackles issues way before its time. Natalie Wood and Steve McQueen work really well together. As always, if anyone knows of a decently priced copy that I can get anywhere, please let me know.

These are the first set photos from the upcoming film, the Tempest. It is directed by Julie Taymor (Across the Universe).

Mike Cellucci. The show has everything. There is action, comedy and tons of sexual tension. Best of all, all of the episodes are available online for free at Lifetime.
I watched The Cotton Club this weekend for the first time in years. I really enjoyed the music. I had a total Francis Ford Coppola weekend (with Rumble Fish, the Outsiders and the Cotton Club). It was a lot of fun, because I haven't seen any of these movies in so long. I had never seen Rumble Fish at all. It was really adorable to see Richard Gere and Diane Lane together. I was really depressed to find out that it is nearly impossible to find a reasonable priced, region one dvd of it though. If anyone knows where I can get one, let me know. I will probably just end up buying a region two version at some point. I hate that a lot of older dvds are starting to not be available on dvd.
