Hmmm, my general comment is that the people you chose for "Jane Eyre" are way too good looking for the roles... both the characters of Jane and Rochester are described in the novel as being "plain", yet in every screen adaptation, one or the other of them is played by a strikingly good looking actor.... Claire Foy and Rufus Sewell are both good actors and would be up to the task of conveying the characters' emotional journey - but both of them are drop dead gorgeous... also, they are both way too old. Jane is supposed to be 18, Claire Foy is 27... Rochester is supposed to be 38, whereas Rufus Sewell is 44.

With "Tenant Of Wildfell Hall", again, you also made the mistake of casting a really good looking actor as Gilbert Markham, when the role calls for someone who looks more plain and ordinary... one of the main problems I had with accepting Toby Stephens in the roles of Markham and Rochester is he is way too pretty for these roles (that, and I thought he played Rochester in an overly flippant and foppish manner).

Charlotte Riley and Jude Law are well chosen though, and those characters are actually SUPPOSED to be good looking, so casting really hansom actors isn't an issue there. Law plays arrogant smugness very well, but he can also do charming. With a role like Huntington, you need someone who can act very charming from the outset so Helen doesn't seem like a complete idiot for being deceived by him. One of the main problems with the earlier miniseries was that Rupert Graves came across as too smarmy and sleezy early on, so it was hard to get what Helen saw in him.

They're all really good. Except I'd have Katherine Jenkins for Princess Aurora. She's not a bad actress and has an amazing voice. Keira Knightly is okay, but if they actually made a film with her as Aurora, I'd think they would make her part even bigger than it is in the cartoon 'cause of how big an actress she is :(

I do NOT like that Dominic guy! He isn't attractive at all! Oliver is supposed to be handsome and Schuyler soon realizes this so that guy wouldn't be a good choice at all. So Xavier Samuel,(Riley from Eclipse) John Patrick Amedori or Logan Lerman as Oliver. I agree that the choice for Jack isn't that great of a choice either...Austin Butler, Alex Pettyfer or Lucas Till would all make great "Jack's"! There's also Aaron Johnson who's VERY attractive and he could either be Jack, Oliver, or Kingsley. Autumn Reeser and Anna Lutoskin would make a great Bliss. I agree that Amanda Seyfried wouldn't be a good Mimi either! Mimi is supposed to be the popular, mean, gorgeous girl in charge and Amanda doesn't fit that role. Brittaney Snow or AnnaLynne McCord could be Mimi. I'm having a hard time finding someone who could fit that role. Well, these are just my opinions and I don't want to be rude but I don't agree with that cast at all really and it would be horrible if most of those people were the cast of the characters if there was a movie.

I agree, Logan Lerman would be a good Oliver. :)

I read the novel, and it's a very good book, really. well, I guess that your choices are a little wrong, because they don't have this ... aristocracy or... dignity. those caracters, in the novel, are so hard,cold. remember that they represent the high russian society. anyway, I didn't see a movie about the book, but I think it needs others actors for be a good representation. Roman Holiday is one of my all-time favorites, too! I think the original casting was perfect! I wonder if Natalie Portman could be a good Princess Ann? I like your choice. Simon Baker is an excellent choice for Joe Bradley - just the right combination of insoucience, rebellion and deep down sense of decency. They both have the same twinkle in the eye as they talk. I'm not familiar with your choice for Irving - but he looks good. How about Simon Pegg as Irving? He might be a fun choice. When I was in Italy, I recreated the hand in the mouth scene, sadly without a Joe Bradley to rescue me. Good choices!

hmmm...I think motion-capture CGI would be really cool. There is so much that could be shown. It would be the perfect way to create another world, but to keep a little reality in the mix.

I really liked Hook. I especially like all of the references to the original stories and all of the lines that make their way into the film.

Hook is a terrible sequel since it completely goes against the very nature of Pan ans has a ton of mistakes in it.

And I don't think you'll get a better Pan & Hook than Sumpter & Isaacs.

Yeah. I was really surprised when I was looking up some of the past casts. I own King Arthur and have seen it many times, but never realized that Stephen Dilane played him. I really like him and have seen him in a lot. I guess that goes to show what a good actor he is, since his appearance didn't change all that much.
