I am very sad to add
Love with the Proper Stranger to my list of films that I desperately want to own, but is sadly no longer available anywhere on dvd. I know that it was at one point available on dvd, because I rented it and watched it years ago. I did manage to find it
here on youtube, but it just is not the same. The film do
es not get nearly enough credit. It is a cute little movie, but also tackles issues way before its time.
Natalie Wood and
Steve McQueen work really well together. As always, if anyone knows of a decently priced copy that I can get anywhere, please let me know.
